Results of Treatment
Hammer toe and hallux valgus
Patient – age 81, with severe pain in the first and second toes, which made wearing shoes impossible.
Ongoing treatment in other centres was ineffective.
The patient rejected the suggestion of amputation of the second toe.
At the Klinika Zdrowych Nóg the patient underwent partial plastic surgical
treatment of the forefoot (“operatio minima”),
due to the patient’s age and advanced osteoporosis.
